The College is committed to providing a safe 和 respectful educational 和 employment environment that is free from discrimination, 骚扰, 和不当行为 on the basis of sex, which includes sexual orientation or gender-related identity.

Sexual discrimination is discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, or gender-related identity. Sex discrimination includes 性骚扰, 不正当的性行为、 和 性暴力.
Report Sexual or Gender-Based Misconduct
At McHenry County College, the Title IX Coordinator oversees the College's response to all complaints alleging sexual discrimination, 性骚扰, 和/or sexual misconduct that involve a College student as the victim 和/or complainant or as the respondent.

Incident report forms are also located in the Student Conduct Office, A252, or by contacting the MCC Title IX Coordinator at (815) 479-7700. Copies of the policy 和 procedures are also available in the 胜博发app Office, A247.
Most importantly, if you feel you are a victim of 性骚扰, misconduct or violence:
- Do not blame yourself for being harassed. People do not bring 性骚扰 upon themselves or "deserve" to be harassed.
- Do not ignore the 骚扰, hoping it will go away. This is a common victim reaction, but is not an effective way to deal with a 性骚扰 incident.
- Do not keep it to yourself. You are very likely not the only victim, 和 by speaking up, you may help others as well as yourself.
- 不要拖延. Harassment is likely to continue if you delay. MCC policy 和 procedures strongly urge that a formal complaint be filed with the Student Conduct Officer.
